The Axilor Accelerator Program runs twice a year – with batches starting in March and October. The startups are selected on a rolling basis and the applications are accepted throughout the year.
Grittiness and passion is what we look for in the founding teams during the early stages of their business. Majority of the founders who have been selected into the program were almost 6 months into their business, with a working product, early adoption metrics in place and some early revenues. We also invite later stage companies working on a specific idea and wanting to pivot their business model.
A successful application is the one where founders are able to express their answers clearly and have the ability to stand out from the crowd. Axilor receives hundreds of applications and the application has to make it visible by being clear, concise and direct.
Successful applications have two things in common. One, the founders have some proprietary insight(s) about the problem their startup has set out to solve. Second, they have solved some tough problems before and have smartly overcome challenges. Successful applications also have more evidence than promise!

Most startups end up accelerating their progress 3-5x and most importantly find early evidence of product-market fit. This happens by identifying early on in the program the riskiest part of the business – it could be product, team, sales, pitch – and getting you the right kind of help in fixing that gap. Weekly goals help in staying focused on what is important and making sure that bottlenecks are addressed.
